4 Ways to Generate Traffic From Your Guest Posts

Everyone knows how to write guest posts. Even you do I’m guessing, that’s why you’re reading this post. One thing I learned by writing 7 or 8 guest posts last month is that writing them is not enough.

You have to get traffic from it as well to your blog. Otherwise, why even bother to write them in the first place.

Well, here are some few simple tips which you may have missed while writing your guest posts.

1. Linking Back to your Blog

This is the most easiest and simple mistake one can make. Even if you do have your blog link in the author info box, but it will not be enough.

The thing is if the read loves your guest posts extraordinarily well, then only they will visit your blog using that link.

Sometimes, the reader may even miss that there is a link to your blog. Why ? Because people don’t read on the internet, they scan through everything. So, if you have a post on your blog that matches with the keywords in your guest post, you should link back to it.

2. Interlinking your Guest Posts

You want to expand your reach, right ? That’s why you’re guest posting. Well, this is the most effective way to do it.

Interlinking your guest posts kind of works in a cycle. Everyone benefits from it, the blog author who allowed you to guest post and you as well. It increases your familiarity with the readers.

If, the readers see that you have multiple guest posts on multiple authority sites, then they will start to take you more seriously.

3. Marketing your Guest Posts

I think one should heavily market their guest posts. Why ? Because you want more attention and you’re not getting it alone. Sharing your guest posts heavily on social media sites and bookmarking sites is the most simplest and easiest way to get attention.

Some people just neglect to marketing their guest posts because they think that writing on a high authority sites is enough. But the truth is, it’s not enough.

Yeah, sure the blog owner will market it anyway. But you should do it too. Inviting people to read your guest posts is very important.

4. Replying to All Comments

I assume that you generally write guest posts on CommentLuv enabled blogs.

If you do, then things got hell of a lot easier for you.

Even if you have to reply to as little as 10 or 20 comments, think about how many article links you can show to hundreds of readers of that blog. You are bound to get some traffic from them.

Conclusion

These are the things which come to my mind right now. I will update this post if something new comes up.
