Would you like to know what are the keywords of the successful business? Then remember three words: interesting, stable and motivating. Of course, many people would like not just start their own business but find the most profitable niche that will bring a really regular and good profit. At the same time, the entrepreneurs-beginners dream to start the business, which will stimulate them to develop it.

In order to start the business, which will be not only profitable but interesting for you, you should brainstorm ideas about your strong points. For example, being a student you worked as an essay helper in the company offering custom paper writing services. After gaining the necessary experience, you may successfully start your own business, which will offer academic paper writing.

What Kind of Business Can Be Considered Profitable?

For someone, the profitable business is the one, which brings several thousand while for another person, profitable business means not less than one million. To begin with, consider the concept of profit. The profit is the difference between the income of the economic entity and the total costs. In other words, it is an income minus expenses for taxation, wages, production costs, etc.

Thus, the most profitable business is a business where incomes considerably exceed expenses. At the same time, the overwhelming majority of people believe that it is possible to earn huge money only in two cases. If you were born a real genius, for example, like Bill Gates. Or if you are engaged in illegal business.

As a result, there is another logical question: “Is it possible to start a profitable enterprise, which will be legal and ethical?”. Of course, this is possible, but you will have to think very hard, make calculations, and make an effective business plan. Even if the first and second enterprises will go bankrupt you should persistently try and start everything from the beginning, taking into account your mistakes. Only patient people have chances to succeed.

Effective Tips on How to Choose Business That will Suit You Personally

To do this, you should do the following:

  • Generate about a hundred of the most interesting and appropriate ideas from your point of view. From this hundred, look, what ideas are the most interesting for you, which already could bring huge profits to other entrepreneurs.
  • Think first and foremost, what exactly would you like to devote your whole life to? Do you want to change the world for the better or are you ready to spend your whole life selling carbonated water? From this hundred choose the best 10-15 ideas that seem to you the most suitable.
  • Calculate as accurately as possible how much you need to develop your business, and how much revenue it will bring to you. Try to learn more about the features of those 10-15 activities that you have chosen in the first step.

Now you need to choose the best two or three ideas that suit you most. In this case, they not only need to have the maximum profit but also be interesting to you personally. Keep in mind that it is possible to achieve great success only if you are passionate about what you are doing. Your business will become your life. Then make business plans for these three activities.

Thoroughly study the competition, fill all the gaps in the knowledge that is available on various issues, and try to identify your potential customers. The choice of the final plan, most likely, will happen by itself. In the process of a deeper immersion in the topic, you can understand all the features of doing business, its strengths, and weaknesses, and you will be able to determine what you are more passionate about.

Profitable Business Ideas in the Sphere of Service

Let’s consider which most profitable business spheres can be accessed by almost any novice entrepreneur. Note that in most cases the most profitable area is the service industry.

  • Cleaning service. People very often do not have time to keep their home or office in perfect condition, so they take care of their coziness on the shoulders of specialists ready to clean all the premises for a fee.
  • Virtual consultant. This business is suitable for those who have excellent organizational skills, competent speech, pleasant voice, knows how to work with computers and has special knowledge in various fields such as marketing, linguistics, computer graphics, speaks different languages and so on. For work, you will need office equipment and a computer. You can conduct training directly from your own home, which is a great benefit of this type of work.
  • Services for website promotion, web design. Virtually anyone can master the necessary knowledge having enough free time and a good computer. Due to the development of the Internet, all stores and firms have sites offering various goods and services. Therefore, a good web studio will always have a sufficient flow of customers.

Let’s say you have already been able to choose the most profitable business for yourself, which you are interested in. But are you sure that it is going to be successful? The main task is to clearly understand how your enterprise will work, how it will be arranged, how you will manage it. Follow the tips above choosing the interesting business idea and thoroughly plan everything before you get started to avoid the failure.

Are you thinking about becoming a digital nomad, living and working in another country besides the current one you reside in? Lately, it’s become a more popular option to work as a digital nomad.

There is a certain charm associated to that lifestyle—the excitement of what you can discover in new locale, the freedom to go wherever you want, and the fact that no boring, mundane moment can ever weigh you down.

Besides, you know what they say: Home is where your heart is. So if digital nomads have their hearts set on the horizon, it’s natural for them to chase after it.

However, before you get started becoming one on your own, you should consider our tips below.

digital nomad

Save Enough Money Before You Leave

Before leaving to embark on your new life as a digital nomad, you should make sure you have enough money in the bank.

Leaving to work in a new country without enough money can cause you to run into a host of problems, such as not being able to afford to rent a place to live.

Also, having extra money in your bank account can help ensure that you can live and work comfortably in a different country.

Have an Extra MacBook Battery

When you’re traveling on your own, especially living in a different country on your own, it pays to have extra batteries.

Make sure you pick up the best MacBook battery you can. This will ensure you are able to use your phone or laptop wherever you are, which you may need to make money as a digital nomad.

Plan in Advance

Before starting your new digital nomad life, you should make sure to plan in advance.

You should plan where you want to move to, where exactly you want to live, how you’re going to make money, and how much funds you need before you move.Although this can be a lengthy process, it will help ensure that you can live comfortably as a digital nomad.

Also, it can help you avoid going bankrupt in a new country, which never leads to a happy ending.

Achieve a Work-Life Balance

Many people choose to work as a freelancer or a digital nomad because they long for a better work-life balance. However, this does not come automatically; you must work for it.

Set specific work hours and try to complete all of your day’s work within that time frame.

You should also make sure you have a dedicated workspace wherever in the world you may be. This will help you to separate your work from your life.

After all, the point of becoming a nomad is so you can see the world first-hand.

Manage Your Stress

Though traveling is meant to be fun, when you mix in work it can become stressful. Achieving a healthy work-life balance can help to relieve some stress, but you may still get anxious from time to time.

Determine what methods you can use to relieve your stress when it becomes too overwhelming.

You can go for a short walk, meditate, write in a journal, or do whatever works for you.

Enjoy Life

Living as a digital nomad is a dream of many. You get to see the world, experience new things, and make a living at the same time.

Be sure to use the tips above to give yourself the best chance of succeeding as a digital nomad.

Gone are the days when advertising is restricted to newspapers, radio, and television. These days, online marketing is one of your best bets to advertise almost anything. Instagram, one of the fastest growing social media platforms today, is an effective tool for marketers to promote businesses, blogs, products, or services.

How big is the Instagram audience ?

As of September 2017, Instagram boasts of 800 million users, 500 million of whom use the app everyday. There were 2 million advertisers using this platform during that time, up 100 percent from just six months before, in March.

If we study the trend, Instagram is one of the most popular places for brands and businesses to advertise and might continue to grow in the foreseeable future.

Advantages of Instagram advertising

Small businesses benefit greatly from advertising on Instagram. It’s effective, inexpensive, easy, and the tools that Facebook has developed for its advertising business make it possible to review marketing numbers and statistics based on the ads.

Some of the advantages of advertising on Instagram:

  •  Instagram has regular updates, making it more user-friendly, which makes advertising more efficient. It is always evolving according to the needs and demands of its users. With more and more businesses choosing to advertise on Instagram, the company will continue to ensure that its advertising business catches up to consumers’ demands.
  • You have the option to target your audiences. Facebook, Instagram’s parent company, lets you select your target audiences. You can then be sure that only those who can potentially be a client or customer will get to see your ad.
  • It’s cost-effective. At only an average of $0.80 per click, Instagram’s ads are inexpensive. Coupled with the ease with which you can start setting up your account and advertise on the platform, Instagram provides businesses with a quick and easy tool for promotion.
  • It’s interactive, which means that you can engage with your market. Users can comment on posts, and you can respond to them. High engagement is a great way to get more people to your profile and to your website.
  • Instagram ads do not scream “advertisement.” While users are informed which posts are sponsored, the posts themselves look like regular posts, so it’s inconspicuous and not a hard sell.

But the best benefit may be that Instagram advertising is effective. It works. According to the company, 60% of users say that they find new products on Instagram. Reports say that a cool 75% respond to an ad after seeing a post, purchasing an item or contacting the business. There’s no better time to advertise on this social media platform than now.

Get Started

If you’re already advertising on Facebook, then learning the ropes on Instagram shouldn’t be difficult. Instagram ads are directly configured through Facebook via their Ad Manager.

But even if you’re not already on Facebook, the app’s advertising tool is still pretty easy to understand and configure.

1. Research the competition. Scroll through your competitors’ profiles and see what kinds of content they produce, which ones get the most engagement (likes and comments), what calls-to-action they provide. You will be able to get a clearer idea of the kind of posts you’ll want for your own profile.

If you want to see the ads they run, a way to do this is by going to their Instagram account and clicking on their website from their bio. When you get to their website, click on some products. Then return to Instagram. If they use a Facebook pixel for remarketing option, chances are you’ll then see an ad from that company on your feed. This option targets users who have previously visited your website so that they see your ads on their feed.

2. Create campaign objectives. Instagram allows you to choose what you want to achieve from your ads. Whether it’s brand awareness, traffic, sales, or engagement, the type of objectives you choose will affect how they are optimized.

3. Know your audience. Similar to Facebook, Instagram lets you set up advertising targeting. For this, you will need to know what types of people will most likely respond to your ad. You can choose a broad audience, but to be more effective, select specific types of people.

Creating your ads

Now that you’ve done the research, you can start building your campaign.

There are five types of Instagram ads you can choose from:

1. Photo ads. Good for those starting out with Instagram ads, photo ads feature the business or their products with a single image. You want the photo to stand out from other posts, so make sure that the image pops and is eye-catching.

To create a photo ad, just select the image from your library or upload one. Add a good caption to accompany the post. You can put up to 300 characters, but Facebook recommends using only 125 as long captions will require the user to click to view the entire caption (an extra step for them). You can also send people to your website from your ad by selecting “Add a website URL” and entering your URL.

2. Video ads. These are similar to photo ads except that they consist of videos or GIFs. The process to create an ad is the same as for a photo. However, you’ll need to choose a video thumbnail—the image that users will see first before the video plays.

3. Carousel ads. These are multi-image ads for when one photo or video isn’t appropriate for the kind of goals you want.

Write your caption; this will be the same for all photos, so be sure that it’s not geared toward one specific image. Next, create the cards that will make up the ad. You can choose up to 10 cards for a single carousel ad. Choose or upload one image, video, or slideshow for every card. Each card can have its own headline, or could show the first line of the caption.

4. Slideshow ads. Slideshows feature several images as a video loop with music. It’s similar to carousel ads, but slideshow ads scroll on its own.

You can create your slideshow using the slideshow creator in Facebook Ads Manager, or upload one if you already have it. It’s easy to use: just upload and arrange the images, adjust the settings, and choose the music.

5. Instagram stories. The most recent type of ad launched last year, Instagram stories are immersive, full screen ads that appear in between people’s Stories. Creating stories for your business is similar to creating a regular photo or video ad. This can be done by choosing “Reach” as your campaign objective and selecting “Stories” in the placement. Then the rest is just a matter of uploading the images or video.

6. Mobile friendly

There are situations when the website looks different in the desktop or laptop and different in mobiles. These days mobiles being an important aspect of life, 80 percent people use the mobile website only so the website needed to be optimized for the mobiles as well. If the website is not optimized for the mobile then there can be less information seen. WordPress has the javascript in it so when the websites are created, it is optimized in such a way that any type of device can be then it will adjust the content accordingly. So it can be mobile, PC, or tablet the screen size can be any type, all the information can be seen properly due to the capability of the dynamic web pages.

The main thing about making a website is to make people know about it. The more people visit the website more is the sales, interaction and more popularity. So it is very important the website to be SEO ready. The keywords can be set in a proper way then the work can be left over to the search engine optimization. It will have the algorithm and attract more viewers and more profits will be there.

8. More plugins

With the availability of more and more plugins, you can add as many features that you want to add. There can be an availability of the things released which are not there earlier, but with the help of plugins, one can add them in minutes. Plugins not only adds to the features, but also makes sure that the looks and the design orientation can be changed accordingly.

9. It is secure

Being secure does not mean it other websites can be hacked easily. But the level of security present in the WordPress sites can’t be matched by any other sites. Even the Obama foundation is made up on the WordPress. The data leak is the main concern of the sites where there is an extra level of security and the community checks for any loopholes in the sites so if any problem occurs it will be solved within hours.

10. User-friendly and branding

As the drag and drop feature is available over there anyone can develop the website with little hosting knowledge and can monitor it properly later. Even many big brands are there so when a startup is doing something can definitely become a big brand someday.

It’s been a long standing battle, the feud between if balancing SEO and UX is even possible. 2017 was a year where the user experience online and on mobile devices was vastly important. UX and SEO in their own ways have changed how we view the digital experience. But in many ways they can’t work together without taking something from the other. Which is why many designers and experts in the field have said over and over again that UX and SEO will never be able to find the perfect balance.

We believe there is a way to balance this system, it might take some adjustments and a bit of a learning curve, but there is a way that brands can benefit equally from both of these elements.

Why We Need Both SEO & UX

SEO generally are the words that are scattered across blog posts and websites to make your brand pop up in the web search feature of Google and other search engines. When you include enough of these words your SEO ranking will rise higher and higher. This brings in more individuals to view your blog and potential customers.

UX on the other hand stands for user experience, the features on a website that focus on making the customer or reader more comfortable with navigating the site. This can be anything from the site layout to customization features that make the user want to come back again and again to use the surface. You’ll find these functions in online stores and blogs!

How Design Plays A Part

Having smart design when it comes to your brand’s mobile app or website can completely change how the interactions between SEO and UX exist together. Having a meaningful experience and by also keeping your digital space simple, you’ll find that the balance almost comes naturally. For example, keeping your website simple, using easy to find navigation, maybe even a light box to prompt interaction with a newsletter or to showcase the latest blog. The blog will then have specific SEO keywords that boost how many people see the content. It all can work together to create an end product that isn’t cluttered or confusing when it comes time for the user to interact with the space.

Everything Is Mobile

Branch out! Start developing an app to increase just how much you can take advantage of the UX qualities on your website. By having an app or even reaching out on social media with your brand, you’ll be really be able to connect with the people who care about your brand the most. You would be able to offer exclusive blogs and other content you might find useful when it comes to your community. Offering personalized experiences that hit on keywords that will boost SEO rankings will also be possible when you outstretch your reach in the tech world.

How To Prevent Invisibility Online

There are specific ways to increase visibility without completely disregarding UX design. For example, when you have an infinite scroll on your blog, it might seem UX friendly and it typically is, but it can also make the rest of your keywords invisible through SEO. To prevent an issue like this, make sure you are aware of what certain UX designs can do to prevent SEO from being the best it can be. Exclude the infinite scroll and incorporate an easy to use page system that has an easy to use feel for the sake of SEO and UX design.

Keep The User In Mind

A key way to make sure that you can find the important balance between UX and SEO is to make sure you put the user first. Don’t force either element into your brand or blog if it’s not necessary. Are you looking for a way to earn more money? Well, you could pick up some shifts at your local Starbucks, mow your neighbors’ lawns or even walk their dogs. On the other hand, you can simply fire up your laptop, sit back on your couch and earn some money online.

Ok, it will take a little bit more effort than that. However, thanks to the huge reach of the internet, there are now more opportunities for ordinary people to earn some extra cash from the comfort of their homes than ever.

The rise of the “gig-economy”

Even though some people still doubt it – yes – you can make extra money online. The Internet economy is actually booming at the moment. According to a new survey conducted by The Pew Research Center, last year, almost 25% of people in the United States made some money using the Internet.

Some people sell their personal things on sites like eBay and Craigslist full-time while others use their computers to do some extra work. In fact, more than 5% of people in the US say they’ve done some work – like taking surveys – in their spare time and during work hours.

And filling out random inquiries isn’t the only way to make money in your spare time. You can type reports for others or write product descriptions for ecommerce merchants, among other things. If you’re interested in putting in some extra work, here a few things you can do in your spare time…

Rent out parking space/rooms

This is perhaps the easiest “job” on our list. Let’s say you have a driveway outside your house that you don’t use often. Then simply head over to a site such as Just Park, and rent it to a random person. If you live near the airport or some tourist attraction in your city, your driveway will be in high demand.

Conversely, if you have a spare room in your house, renting it for a few days can be seriously lucrative. Although Airbnb is known as the go-to service for renting out rooms, houses or apartments, there are lots of options out there. For instance, if you have some land, Glamping allows you to rent it for people to camp on.

User-test websites

Did you know that you can get paid simply for testing and review websites? Here we have a website called UserTesting that pays people $10 for every completed test. In some cases, you might need to download an app, test it out, and give your feedback.

Other tests require you to complete a certain set of tasks and record your commentary into a microphone. And don’t worry, you don’t need an actual external microphone, the built-in mic on your laptop will do. Plus, the website you’re visiting will explain how to complete tasks, record the commentary and upload it to UserTesting’s servers…

Search for items online

According to InternetLiveStats, Google processes around 3.5 billion inquiries per day. So just how often do you look up something on Google? Probably a few dozen times a day. By using a site like Qmee, you’ll be able to earn some money for all of those searches.

You just need to enter your search terms, like usual, and Qmee will automatically add a search result, alongside your regular results. Click on it and you’ll get a small cash reward. We should point out that you’ll only earn a few pennies per search, however, the money can quickly add up…

Become a survey/research participant

If you’re wondering how to make money online by doing only the simplest tasks, you should definitely look into doing online surveys. On average, these surveys last around fifteen minutes. You just need to enter some basic information like your name, gender, and you’re ready to go.

Furthermore, you can earn up to $40 per study at the Harvard Business School or get a $5 gift certificate in less than ten minutes. Usually, the researchers ask you about potential decisions you’d make in certain business-related disciplines such as psychology and economics.

The bottom line

While it’s true that some online jobs are nothing more but scams, all of the jobs we presented above will definitely earn you some pocket money. Needless to say, none of these jobs will make you rich overnight but they will provide you the extra cash you need.

The best thing about them – they only require a PC, good internet connection and a little bit of skill. And since you’ll work as a freelancer, you’ll be able to pick where, when and how much you want to work.

JavaScript Frameworks That Changed How We View The Web http://www.lionblogger.com/javascript-frameworks-that-changed-how-we-view-the-web/ http://www.lionblogger.com/javascript-frameworks-that-changed-how-we-view-the-web/#respond Sun, 31 Dec 2017 16:06:35 +0000 http://www.lionblogger.com/?p=4372 According to statistics posted in w3tech.com, currently approximately 89% of websites use JavaScript as their main client-side programming language. According to statistics posted in w3tech.com, currently approximately 89% of websites use JavaScript as their main client-side programming language. JavaScript is a lightweight language that many programmers use to build great sites and application that are compatible with search engines, operating systems, and devices. And as a result, various frameworks with different features have been adopted to achieve the highest level of abstraction.  In this article, I’m going to discuss different JavaScript frameworks that changed the way we view the web.

1. Angular JS 1.X

Angular JS 1.X is one of the most preferred options when it comes to selecting the best framework. This is because it is maintained by Google and supported by most developers.

It is an extended HTML (hypertext markup language) with two way data binding that displays changes made to view instantly in the model without the developer intervening. The two-way approach also helps the developer spend less time and effort coding, translating and updating Document Object Model (DOM).

This framework also supports caching among other processes consequently reducing the load from server CPUs (central processing unit). It means the server only attends to static files and answers the API (application programming interface) calls.

Another interesting aspect of angular is the fact that it builds websites and applications that have withstood the test of time. It has made testing and debugging much easier than ever. Karma, Jasmine, and Protractor are some of the unique testing tools that come with this framework.

Other pros of the angular framework include:

  1. Model view controller and model view ViewModel (MVVM) architectural patterns
  2. Use of directives that ensure scripts and HYMP (Howard Yen Monet Page) pages are organized

However, using angular is time-consuming especially for those not familiar with Model View View Model (MVVM) architectural patterns or the directives.

Although the scopes are very simple, it is very difficult to debug.

2. Angular 2.x (now 4.x)

Released in September 2016, Angular 2 was a rewrite which introduced TypeScript (compiled with JavaScript).  TypeScript offers great benefits to developers familiar with statically-typed languages like C# and Java. In March 2017 the fourth version was released, skipping the third one. This was done to avoid issues with semantic version.

It is worth noting that Angular 2.x is very different from 1.x and they are not compatible with each other. As a result, one can never upgrade from Angular 1.x. Unlike angular 1, angular 2 has a larger code base.

Despite being developed by Google, the big G does not use it.

3. Vue.js

In spite of being reasonably new Vue.js is one of the fastest growing frameworks that serve as a quick and easy solution not only for applications but also interface development. Developed by Evan You, a former staff of Google, its inception has been used by numerous Chinese firms including Sina, Weibo and Alibaba.

Its small size is one of the significant features; it is only 18kb after zipping. Despite its tiny size, this framework can match products of large brands like Facebook and Google which are Angular 2 and React.js enabled as well as outperform them.

Unlike many JavaScript frameworks, Vue integrates an element’s structure, logic, and style all in one single file which makes flexible components that can be reused in other projects. It also adds several small reactive components to the current template.

Vue JavaScript framework has nice documentation and for amateurs to write their first application, they must have some basics in JavaScript and HTML.

Just like angular framework, it enables two-way communications, is very responsive, high-speed rendering and very simple to code.

However, it has a few cons with language barrier being the biggest issue.

4. Backbone.js

Developed by Jeremy Ashkenas and released on 13th October 2010, Backbone.js is a lightweight framework (41.6 KB).  It has an MVC (model view controller) framework that summaries data into a model, DOM into views and later combines the two using events. It also allows the creation of client-side web or mobile application in an organized manner.

So when should you use Backbone ?

  1. To create an application with many code lines using JavaScript
  2. If you have a design with few codes; it offers functionality and is well structured.
  3. It communicates through events and ensures the code is clean and easy to maintain.

Although Backbone claims to be a library because it can be incorporated into very many projects most developers consider it a framework.

Pros :

  1. Has wonderful documentation
  2. Has been adopted for use by firms such as WordPress.com, LinkedIn, and Trello
  3. It does not add logic to HTML
  4. A lesser abstraction level compared to alternatives like angular (although this can also be considered as a disadvantage)

Cons :

  1. Additional components are needed to perform features like data binding
  2. Most of the recent JavaScript frameworks are no longer MVC architectures

5. Ember.js

Originally known as SproutCore MVC framework, Ember.js is an open source framework under MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) license that enables developers to build client-side JavaScript application that offers a solution that has web application flow and data management.

Developed by Yehuda Katz, the Ember.js is based on MVVM pattern and gears templates, data binding, and libraries in one package. Data binding is enabled by the linkage of two properties; where when one property changes the other is upgraded.

Common features of ember include:

  1. Used to create eco-friendly and easily maintained web applications
  2. It has HTML and CSS (cascading style sheet)
  3. Provides instance initializers
  4. The routes are primary features that manage the URL’s

It is very simple to configure Ember.js in your system. All you need is Ember CLI (command line interface) utility that creates and manages your projects.

To install the framework, you require the following dependencies:

  1. Git, an open source system that tracks changes made in your files
  2. js and npm- Node.js is an open source written in JavaScriptwhile npm is used to install, share and manage the different dependencies in projects
  3. Bower is used to manage components like JavaScript, image files, and HTML.
  4. Watchman is used to check files and make changes if any
  5. PhantomJS is an optional dependency used to run browser-based unit tests to interact with web page

Firms using Ember.JS include LinkedIn, Netflix, Microsoft, Zendesk, SKYLIGHT among many more.

6. Meteor.js

Released in 2012 by Meteor development group, meteor.js is a framework that offers complete functionality that assists developers to build applications in JavaScript right from scratch to the end. Besides the front end UI rendering, this framework provides back-end abilities that include architectural configuring and database management.

So why do developers prefer it ?

  1. It is faster to build applications when compared to other frameworks
  2. Launching an MVP in 3 or 4 weeks can be a reality with the meteor.js framework. It has both front-end and back-end packages that allow you develop faster.
  3. Easy to learn
  4. Compared to many renowned full-stack frameworks, meteor only uses JavaScript, a language that most developers are familiar with.
  5. Real-time applications; this means any changes made to documents are saved instantly.
  6. Allows you to turn your web application into a mobile device app. This is facilitated by Cordova, a platform with a set of APIs that builds built-in smartphone applications using HTML and JavaScript.
  7. It is very fast. Meteor’s speed is as a result of from great community packages and libraries that fill any gaps.
  8. Besides that, it solves small and time-consuming tasks that developers have to do hence assisting them to expand their business with ease.

7. Express.js

Express.js is a flexible JavaScript web app framework that comes with a strong set of features for web and mobile applications. It is a popular node framework that offers tools to:

  1. Write requests for handlers with various HTTP verbs at different URL routes
  2. Integrates with view to create responses by introducing data into templates
  3. Adds more requests when needed
  4. Builds APIs (Application Programming Interfaces)

This framework has two template engines (Jade and EJS) that facilitate data flow into a site.

Is express.js opinionated or unopionated? Opinionated frameworks are those with views about the perfect way to handle a certain task while an unopinionated framework has few restrictions making it easier and flexible for developers to make use of the most suitable tools when performing a given task. Express is unopinionated and you can use any compatible approach. You can organize the app into one single file, many files or even have the two options.

8. Batman.js

Batman.js is another interesting JavaScript framework that has changed the way we view the web. Created by Shopify, this framework looks like knockout and angular. It has a great user interface (UI) that is founded on HTML features. It is also the only framework that is written in idiomatic CoffeeScript. Moreover, it is well integrated with Node, js and can use the node.js server.

Advantage :

  • A very clean codebase that allows binding, persistence, and routing

Disadvantage :

  • Uses singleton controllers

Of course, this article has not given a list of all JavaScript frameworks that changed how we view the web. JavaScript frameworks are very many. Which framework do you use? Do find it helpful?

If there is a “universal need” defined for any ecommerce owner, it would simply be acquiring more customers to the website.

Imagine this – You wake up in the winter morning, grab a cup of brewed coffee and the first thing that hits your mind is “How to improve my website conversion rates?” and after drinking few more sips, another question that pops over your mind is “ How can I get potential customers to stay in my sales funnel?”.

Sounds familiar, isn’t it?

Many writers would quote down top stats and survey results but I’m not going to do that. Actually, there is no point in highlighting it. You know your website stats…. Correct. You know what industry you’re in and where you want to be in terms of conversion … Isn’t it?

So now the obvious and the most appropriate question that strikes my mind is:

How Do I Improve My Conversion Rate?

Well, before going in-depth inside ways to improve conversions, let’s understand whether online promotions in ecommerce website do count and its importance in sales funnel.

Yeah! Online Promotions Do Count!

According To The UK Survey, 50% Of The Consumers Make A Purchase When There Is Any Offer Or Promotions Happening.

So, just think for a moment – More than half of the UK consumers are not making purchases due to lack of offer or promotions.

The survey result also stated that promotion-driven customer increases by 60% whereas 30% of the adults aged between 16-27 still are looking forward to offers.

Source: amazon.com

For instance: Amazon.com is smartly driving more conversions for its new streaming service called “Amazon Prime” from its already-established brand. The company not only boosts its sales funnel, but also cash more revenue by offering alluring offer to enjoy premium videos just at the negligible cost.

So, the message of the e-commerce retailers is clear, if you want to activate more customers, promotions are the best way to go with. It is one of the best strategies to fill the leaks of your budget. But wait,

Can Promotions Really Help To Plug The Leaks In Your Budget?

So, let’s be clear when we are seriously talking about your PROMOTIONS.

YES! Promotions do help to fix the leaks in your budget. In order to identify the loopholes in your budget, it is good practice to pen down all the expenditure spent on a particular product, analyze expense channel, identify the loopholes and fix it.

Promotions are not those flashing and loud banners that create nuisance by shouting with a message like: “Come and Visit my beautiful website, NOW”.

Instead, the sign of good promotion is,” It should market or rather promote your product to the consumers and offer them a value-added incentive, something that is specifically designed for those targeted group of people. “

Along with this, promotions should be placed in multiple places along with your conversion CTA that benefits your business in many ways.

A Perfect Formula

Before we get into the how’s & ways of promotions, the below simple formula can make all the difference.

Reduce Bounce Rate + Reduce Drop-off rates = Improved Sales

This maths really does help.

If you can drop down your bounce rate by 3% and reduce your drop-off rates by 2%, you can expect revenue to scale by 5-7%.

So, Which Of These Promotion Approach Is Your Favorite?

1. A Popular Video Streaming Brand, Netflix Earns Millions By Promoting Personalized Video Content

Netflix promotes its product very smartly. It makes use of compelling text that not only shouts and promotes its product utility but also let people know how convenient is their product that leverages an ease to watch and cancel anytime & anywhere.

2. Instagram Sharing – Influencing Social Media Promotion!

Nowadays, the emergence of social media platforms like Instagram has proved to be a great tool to enhance online visibility as well to conduct an engaging promotional activity. For instance; Kyle Jenner is promoting the utility and comfort of fitteawraps that keeps her body toned and maintained.

So, Is Conversion A Device To Grab More Sales ?

Don’t think of promotion as a quick gadget to garner more attention around specific product or services. In fact, it’s much more than what you think.

Just think of promotions as an alluring and enticing way to encourage customers all along right from homepage to the checkout page and guess what, there’s a promotional offer that makes them appealing to make that purchase.

Is Your Promotion Effective Enough To Improve Sales Funnel?

Well, now it should be.

Just think of all the revenues you can drive by deriving effective promotion strategy. Do steal some of the tips and boost your sales funnel by 35%.

So, what exactly is your strategy to drive more sales to funnel? We are eager for your responses. Do let us know in the comments below.

Facebook regularly evaluates its algorithms for how business pages get into users’ news feeds organically. In the end, Facebook seeks to provide a great experience for its users so they keep coming back, which means keeping the news feed relevant.

Each time Facebook announces a change, marketers tend to get upset, but really, it’s a great chance to reevaluate your social strategy and the quality of information you’re producing. Recently, Facebook announced its Explore Feed and is testing putting all page content under this feed in four countries.

While it gave many companies pause, it’s important to remember this is currently in beta mode. Facebook page managers should instead take this opportunity to rewrite their overall social media marketing strategy.

Content is King

It’s probably nothing new for you to hear this, but Facebook’s decision to feature you or not in a user’s news feed comes down to the quality of the content you post and its relevance to your audience. The number of likes, shares and comments tells Facebook’s complicated algorithm how relevant your content is.

Additionally, Facebook considers how often that user has interacted with your page in the past. If you’ve earned many likes, comments and shares, you’re more likely to make it into that user’s organic feed because Facebook knows that the user appreciates and enjoys your content.

facebook b2b marketing

Post at the Right Time

Every page’s audience is different so I can’t give you a template for when to post, but there’s a pretty easy way to find out. Post varying types of content at different times of the day throughout a month. Aim to post 10 each of photos, links and videos to have information to analyze for each post type.

Now, you can go into your insights and see when you got the most interaction and on what types of posts. You’ll also be able to see when your audience is on Facebook under your insights tab. You can try tactics that might seem counter-intuitive at first, like posting when the fewest amount of your followers are online. By doing this, you aren’t in competition with as many posts from other pages as Facebook’s algorithm picks how much page information to let through. On the other hand, it might not work for you because Facebook’s algorithm also favors newer content so if you post too far ahead of your peak times for your audience to be on Facebook, your content can become stale before it has a chance to reach your audience.

As you test and analyze, keep in mind, that there may be a different time of day that works for each day of the week. For example, you might find that late afternoons are most effective for Monday through Thursday, but Fridays are best in the evening and mornings are best on Saturday and Sunday. Don’t look at just one day and assume that all days of the week are equal.

Post types

Facebook provides you insights into what types of posts do best on your page. Some pages might find videos earn the most reach, while others might find photos resonate with their audience. Facebook will even tell you what your best performing post type is.

Ask Questions

When you post something to a business page, Facebook shows that content to a select number of your followers to see how they react. The more interactions from that test group, the more of your audience your post will reach. One way to do this is to encourage interaction by asking questions from time to time. Your audience will also feel as though its voice is heard if you encourage them to share their thoughts. And remember, the more times your audience interacts with your post, the more likely they are to keep seeing you in their news feed.

Be sure your questions are relevant, and don’t ask questions too often. If your page, for example, is about how to improve your Facebook organic reach, you might ask a question like “What strategies have you found increase organic reach?” Questions without definitive answers, such as, “What’s the best strategy for increasing organic reach?” would not encourage your followers to interact as much as asking for their specific experience.

Boost your Posts

Yes, Boosting your posts costs money, so you may be wondering why I’ve listed this here. Boosting your well-performing posts expands your audience to earn more likes, comments and shares. This means, more of your organic following, will see the post if you’ve reached others through boosting and they’ve interacted with you. You can boost with as little at $10 and see good results.

Boosting increases your overall interactions for your page, meaning your next post also might earn more organic reach thanks to your investment in interactions on your boosted post. Facebook algorithms also seem to favor pages that advertise, meaning spending a few dollars on boosting posts every once in awhile can be beneficial on multiple fronts.

Is it worth the effort? Only you can decide whether organic reach, while more limited than it used to be, is worth the time and effort. What you have to remember is, Facebook is about more than just sales. It provides a platform for consumers to voice their concerns and build a relationship with your company. So while it may seem like the return on investment is low, remember, it takes five times as much to earn a new customer as it does to retain a current one, so those relationships are exceedingly valuable.
